Add a touch of holiday cheer to your home with an evening of watercolor painting at Grayce Gardens! In this beginner-friendly workshop, led by Hannah of Owlfeathers Watercolor, you’ll learn simple yet beautiful watercolor techniques while creating a festive piece perfect for the season.
This beginner friendly painting workshop will teach you how to paint your choice of three charming holiday designs: a cozy pair of stockings, a classic Christmas tree, or a petite bundle of holly. The class begins with a guided group lesson, followed by individual instruction to help you complete your own 9×12 holiday watercolor—ideal for framing or gifting. Frames will be available for purchase during the event.

Unlike most painting workshops, at Owlfeathers Watercolor we do not rely on copy-after-me style instruction. Rather, we believe everyone is capable of creating unique artwork when taught the foundational techniques and skills in small group lessons, and then encouraged and supported by one-on-one individualized instruction.
Students will view paintings from at least 4-5 artists, and sometimes even prior students showing different ways the same technique or theme might be expressed through watercolor. Students are able to draw inspiration from provided artist examples, a personal photo, or their own imagination! As a result, no two paintings will be alike, as everyone finds their own artist's voice!
