This beginner-friendly watercolor workshop will give you the opportunity to paint a custom stack of your favorite books! The class will begin with a lesson on the basics of watercolor, followed by instruction on techniques needed to paint your book stack.
We can’t wait to bring your stack to life! Please email a photo of your books arranged in the exact order and orientation you’d like them traced. To keep everything just right, be sure your stack is no taller than 9–10 inches.

Unlike most painting workshops, at Owlfeathers Watercolor we do not rely on copy-after-me style instruction. Rather, we believe everyone is capable of creating unique artwork when taught the foundational techniques and skills in small group lessons, and then encouraged and supported by one-on-one individualized instruction.
Students will view paintings from at least 4-5 artists, and sometimes even prior students showing different ways the same technique or theme might be expressed through watercolor. Students are able to draw inspiration from provided artist examples, a personal photo, or their own imagination! As a result, no two paintings will be alike, as everyone finds their own artist's voice!
